Bereavement Volunteer

CRUSE Bereavement Support

If you are passionate about supporting bereaved people, we’d love to hear from you. We provide support to thousands of bereaved people every year. For many this will be the first time they have asked for help with their grief. We believe supporting bereaved people is a privilege, and our extensive training programme equips you with the knowledge and skills required to support people during this difficult time of their life.

What skills do I need?

We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds.

About CRUSE Bereavement Support

We offer FREE one-to-one bereavement support to adults in who live in North Tyneside, Newcastle and Gateshead. We also support children and young people who live in Newcastle and Gateshead.  Feel free to contact us on 0191 276 5533 to ask about our provision of support to people who have suffered a bereavement through our network of trained bereavement volunteers.

Volunteering hours are Monday-Friday 9am-8pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am-2pm.
