Donate a Letter (Adults)

From Me to You

Donate A Letter aims to reduce the social isolation and loneliness so often associated with cancer. Receiving a letter or card, even from someone you don’t know, can bring a connection and sense of comfort at a time of difficulty.

Send any letters you'd like to write to our PO Box address with a stamp on the envelope. The address is: Donate a Letter, PO Box 6033, Ascot, SL5 5FH. Before you get started check our website for hints, tips and inspiration for your letters. We also have free, regular online workshops that you'd be welcome to join throughout your time of writing for us (info on our website - https://www.frommetoyouletters.co.uk/donate-a-letter).

This is not a penpal scheme - your letters will go to different people each time. You won't know their names so some people will open with 'Hello' or 'Hello unmet friend'. Each letter should preferably be at least one side of A5 long.

What skills do I need?

All you need is some pen, a paper or a card - and a desire to distract the reader and brighten their day.
