As a new member admin assistant you will be the first point of contact for our new members, many of whom may have been recently berieved. Your role will include processing new online applications in line with our policies and procedures. In addition, responding to queries from members and non members alike. You will be part of a small but dedicated team, working on a rota basis, possibly one week in three.
Experiance of working with computers, especially Word is essential. Must be comfortable working as a team and to deadlines.
You will be able to demonstrate empathy and understanding when communicating with our members.
You will be invited to our management meetings held by Zoom every six weeks. Additionally, there is an Admin meeting by Zoom about every three months. Your attendance at both these meetings is voluntary and is an opportunity for you to contribute to the management of the group.

We have set admin hours around 4 hours per day, 5 days a week. However, flexibility is essential. Some days there will be little in the way of admin, other days much more.
