Front of House Volunteer

The Cedarwood Trust

As a Front of House Volunteer for the Nourish Bistro your tasks may include:

  • Taking food and drink orders
  • Processing cash and card payments
  • Serving food and drinks provided by our Bistro kitchen team
  • Preparing sweet and savoury dishes
  • Making drinks including specialised coffee dishes
  • Help to wash and load dishwasher as well as clean tables

Your lunch is provided and reasonable travel costs will be reimbursed. You will receive a FREE L2 Food Hygiene qualification (4 hour shift) as well as a free DBS provided. To apply you can either pop into the centre or email [email protected] .

About The Cedarwood Trust

Cedarwood is a community hub based in the Meadow Well estate in North Shields. We focus on supporting our visitors to make use of opportunities to improve their health, education, leisure, and economic situation. Our core themes are community support, training, food poverty and child development. We rely heavily on volunteers to provide our range of activities and services.
