Lifeboat Training Coordinator - Tynemouth

The impact you will make

This role will help us save lives at sea by co-ordinating, planning and recording all aspects of training at the lifeboat station so that all crew are adequately prepared for service and the required standards are met.

What you will be doing

  • Maintain station training records
  • Co-ordinate training with the Lifeboat Operations Manager, Coxswain/Helm and Mechanic
  • Contact Coastal Lifeboat Trainer and Lifeboat Trainer Assessor with regard to assessments
  • Support the planning of station training
  • Carry out succession planning with the Lifeboat Operations Manager
