What you will be doing
- Provide leadership of the operations team
- Ensure that all operational activities are carried out to maintain the lifeboats and all associated equipment in a constant state of readiness for launching on service
- (Optional) Authorise launch of the lifeboats
- This role has a tenure of 3 years which can be extended to a maximum of 9 years

What skills do I need?
What you need for this role
- Team player
- Good communicator
- Extensive People Management and Change Management experience (essential)
- Local maritime knowledge (desirable)
- Maritime background (desirable)
- IT literate (desirable)
- Knowledge of the RNLI (desirable)
- You must live or work within 20 minutes of the station and be between 18 and 70 years of age (if authorising the launch of lifeboats).
