Marketing and Digital support

We are looking for a passionate and creative Marketing & Communications Volunteer to support Roots for Change UK in promoting our community projects, events, and services across the North East.

The volunteer will help raise awareness of our work, engage with the community online, and support the organisation’s growth through creative content and communication strategies.

What skills do I need?

Responsibilities:

• Create and schedule social media content for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
• Support the promotion of community events, classes and volunteering opportunities
• Design flyers, posters and promotional materials
• Take photos and videos during activities and events
• Help create engaging content, stories and impact posts
• Support fundraising and awareness campaigns
• Assist with email communications and newsletters
• Help maintain a consistent and professional brand image
• Research ideas and trends to improve engagement and reach
• Support the organisation with marketing and community outreach activities
