Social Welfare Work Volunteer

Roots for Change UK

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Social Work Volunteer to support individuals and families within the community. The role may involve supporting community outreach activities, assisting with casework administration, accompanying service users to appointments, helping to organise wellbeing initiatives and working alongside staff to promote inclusion and safeguarding.

Applicants should have some previous experience in social work, community support, mentoring, counselling, youth work or a related field. Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, professionalism and the ability to work respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds are essential.

This opportunity would suit someone who is passionate about supporting vulnerable people, committed to making a positive difference and interested in gaining further experience within the social care and community sector.
